In case of outdoor burning, all players must return to the battlefield.

Number of stroke attempts

Maximum 2 attempts. Only 1 stroke if the first stroke is valid. 1 more attempt shall be made if the 1st stroke is invalid.

Invalid strokes

* If the ball does not hit.

* If the ball hits over shoulder height.

* If the ball lands before it has passed the short stroke line.

* If the ball lands or is caught outside the striking sector.
* If no part of the hitter's lower body is on or above the hammock when the ball is hit.

* If the striker does not have the little finger on one of the hands closest to the narrow end of the wood when the blow is performed.

* If the hand is not threaded through the loop at the time of impact.

* If the ball never leaves the hitter's hand at the time of hitting, the ball must not be moved.

* If the ball is not in the air when it hits.

* If the bat breaks or leaves your hands in a dangerous way.

* Notable: The bat must be left before the butcher has passed the first cone.

Unsportsmanlike conduct

Behaving unsportsmanlike means:
Against opponents: Shout at opponents  who is to strike, mock an opponent, close or otherwise act physically against an opponent.
Against referees: Complaining about referees with gender words or rude word choice, refusing to stop discussing referees during the current match, to physically act against referees.
Against material: If you deliberately break cones, balls, track signs or other of the tournament equipment, it is unsportsmanlike behavior.
All types of unsportsmanlike conduct give the following penalty: Warning, -1, -3, -5, ie on a scale based on repeated behavior.
In all these variants of behaved , but of a rough nature or very rough from the player means disqualification of that person. By coarse species is meant e.g. that instead of shutting down a player deliberately tackles or cuts his legs.
An individual can also be ditched and not just the team. Disqualification of a player means that the team gets -3 points in the match and that the player is not allowed to play more in the tournament.

Masking

Masking gives the following punishment in order for repeated behavior: warning, -1, -3, -5 for each time a team worms.

What is masking
* Not to throw the ball to the burner quickly as an outing.
* Not to deliver the ball as a burner immediately when a hit is ready.
* Not to send out a hitman or to change hiters unreasonably many times as input.
* To take an abnormally long time to hit as an inning.

Audience mix

In the event of an incident, the referee has the authority to stop the time and rule that the battle is reversed. If the player who struck the blow is injured due to the incident (not self-inflicted injury), another player may strike in his place.

Contact the judge

Only one player at a time talks to the referee!

Burned players

A person is burned if the person in question:

* Thieves start

* Genar

* Not passed the cone's center line with the front of the chest (just like bursting the finish line while running)

as a hitman failed to perform a valid hit
* Rolls over a cone without stopping and stops picking it up.

Burned players go to the first cone. Bats may, but do not have to wait for burnt players re-enter the game. Slaggers must strike at the referee's request. If the striker does not respond to the referee's request, it is considered a mask.

The burner

The burner should be on the burner plate when the ball is hit. When the ball is in play, the burners are allowed to move freely. When burning, the burner must have a body part on the burner plate and have full control of the ball.

The burner must promptly, without delay, deliver the ball to the hitter in the infield.

The burner must have full control when receiving the ball with his hands / hand and shout "burned" as a result.

Outdoor player

Outdoor players must not stand closer to the striking plate than the excellent striking line (10 meters) when the stroke takes place.

Bat
The team may use a free number of their own bats. The judge ensures that only, by the organizer, approved bats are used. The referees bring two bats to each match.

Ball
Ball provided by the organizer. The ball must be of the tennis ball type. Only one ball may be in play at a time. If
the ball is not in playable condition, the ball must be replayed.

Draw
In the event of a draw, the team that ends the match as an away team wins. This applies to both group games and playoffs. Thus, a fireball match can not end in a draw.

Protest
Made to the referee immediately after the match. A representative from all relevant teams accompanies the referee to the secretariat immediately after the completed round or play-off match. Organizer / competition leader decides on consistency.

Appendices and interpretations to Brännbollsyran's rules 2019

On the powers of the judge

The judge has the power to stop the time when he deems it necessary.

If the referee judges that a running inside player causes an outside player to miss a lyre that he most likely would have taken, the referee has the authority to award a point to the away team for lyre in any case.

Unsportsmanlike conduct may be but is not exclusive:

… Actions that expose other people to danger and do not belong to the game (eg throwing fireballs)

… Destruction of the track (eg kicking away cones, or pulling away flags)

… Unpleasant exclamations directed at someone

It is the referee's task to assess whether players are guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct. Violations should be mainly punished with -1 points; If the incident is deemed serious or occurs repeatedly, more penalty points should be awarded.

About team members

A team can use up to 12 players in the tournament. Not all 12 must play all matches, but the total amount used for a team during a cup may be a maximum of 12 players.

About end signal

If time remains after an invalid shot or when the burner has control of the ball, the game must continue and the next player will hit his / her shots.

Example: If the burner catches the ball at 11.59, the next stroke shall take place even if the rolling time exceeds 12 minutes when the stroke / strokes themselves take place.

About the plan

* The line for the shortest approved stroke is 10 meters from the center of the bat.
* The striking plate is placed 5 m behind a straight line between the cones.

* The short stroke line is placed 3 m beyond the imaginary line. The burner plate is placed 3 m from the cone 4 inwards in the path and 3 m straight down from the cone line. The sloping flag is placed 4 m outwards in the imaginary line between cone 2 and 3 and the sloping line starts from the striking plate. To clarify the playing field, more slanting flags can be placed to define the playing field. Any painted oblique and short stroke lines are counted as part of the game plan.

* Flags are counted outside the playing field. None of the course markings may be moved during the game.

* Spectators must be where they do not affect the game. The laws of physics affect how long the strokes can be.

Recommendation: When hanging a playing field, the playing field length is recommended to be 90 meters from the bat.

About lyres

The rule means that you must not catch a lyre with aids. For example, clothing or other equipment. The ball may be balled between persons before it is caught as long as it does not touch the ground.

About damage

If a player is injured during indoor play when a player is out on the court and cannot continue the match, the substitute must be put on the first cone. The player who is injured may not play anything more in the match.

On the powers of the judge

The judge has the power to stop the time when he deems it necessary.

If the referee judges that a running inside player causes an outside player to miss a lyre that he has a chance to take, the referee shall award a point to the away team for lyre in any case.

Unsportsmanlike conduct may be but is not exclusive:

* Actions that expose other people to danger and do not belong to the game (eg throwing fireballs)

* Destruction of the course (eg kicking away cones, or pulling away flags)

* Unpleasant exclamations directed at someone It is the referee's task to assess whether players are guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct. Violations should be mainly punished with -1 points; If the incident is deemed serious or occurs repeatedly, more penalty points should be awarded.

About the burner's control of the ball

Control for the burner also means that it can have the ground as a contact surface together with hands / hand and ball.

About burned players at the last cone

It is okay to drop the fourth cone when you run into the nest without being burned, it is also okay to pass on the left side (in the direction of travel) if the cone is crowded as long as you do not disturb the burner. If you disturb the burner, it is the referee who, like on a lost lyre after contact with opponents, decides which players had been burned and whether the rule for unsportsmanlike conduct should be used.

About the nature of the bat

Only bats with textile straps that are fastened with screws are approved for play. A bat must not be affected from its original condition. For grip-promoting purposes, however, the following measures are permitted on own-owned bats.

The measures may be taken from the strap bracket to half the length of the bat:

* Rug or remove the varnish

* Attach tape / grip tape

Before the match, the referee must check that all bats to be used during the match do not pose a risk. The judge checks the following things:

* That the bat is approved by the organizer

* That the textile strap is complete and fastened with a screw

* That the bat does not have cracks

* That damage to the bat does not entail an obvious risk

About the ball

Example: If the ball has only one crack, the ball should be played clear as usual and then replaced.

The rules are developed by Brännbollsyran rule group and established 10 May 2019.
